BRENTWOOD, TN – August 22, 2016– Capital Financial Group held its annual Quota Buster kickoff meeting on August 18th, 2016. The event was held at the Four Points By Sheraton hotel in Brentwood. The Quota Buster kick off meeting on Thursday featured many inspiring and unique speakers, including Scott Rider. Scott Rider went from being a two-time All American in Track and Field at The Ohio State University, to being diagnosed at 47 with Parkinson’s disease. Disability Income Insurance and Long Term planning have helped him and his family prepare for the cost of his care. His story was extremely powerful and truly inspiring.
Sean Henry, the President of the Nashville Predators also came to speak. He was able to engage and excite our agents to go out and accomplish their goals. He focused on setting lofty goals and being persistent on improvement. Last but not least, we were able to have our veteran agents share their successes, failures and tips for new agents in a panel setting that provided room for questions and many unique stories.
Before the annual meeting, a friendly yet competitive softball game took place at Grannie White Park on August 17th. The agents less than 5 years with Capital played against those who have been with us for more than 5 years. Both teams were very competitive and spirited. After the softball game, there was a company picnic at Richland Country Club. This featured good food, comradery and swimming.
