You have what it takes. You know that you get whatever you put in. And wherever your next career takes you, it will have to challenge and inspire you.
You’re looking for the ability to have a meaningful impact on the direction and financial well-being of individuals, families, and businesses – the opportunity to build relationships and not just facilitate transactions.
At Capital Financial Group, we work as a team. And your military experience proves you’re committed, honorable, determined, a leader and a hard worker. That’s exactly what we look for, too.
Make a difference in people’s lives.
Never punch a time clock.
Be the leader of your own organization.
Team of professionals and resources behind you.
We’re Committed to Serve Your Clients and Career.
You’ll be a vital asset to your community, a respected professional who shares valuable perspectives with business leaders and individuals alike.
You will have the opportunity to help people secure their lives and overcome obstacles by providing recommendations on strategies and products that can set them on the path to greater financial security and personal well-being.
You’ll build your own business with the deep support and encouragement of a company and local agency that treats insurance agents and financial advisors with respect. You’ll expand your opportunities for attractive financial rewards and a lifestyle to match.
You won’t be left to fend for yourself – we work as a team, pair you with trainer and mentors, and our monthly allowance for new advisors will ensure you’re lifestyle isn’t affected while you make this shift. Your earning potential is only as limited as your ambition. You have the ability to earn competitive commissions, incentives, and bonuses.
And you’ll have a robust training program, led by a team of experienced mentors to support what you’re building.

Is the financial services industry right for me?
You don’t need a financial background to be successful.
Capital Financial Group has several successful career agents with military backgrounds, four of which are on our management team and who you’ll be working with as you begin your career.
Other successful career changers include sales reps, pharmaceutical reps, teachers, business managers, small business owners, attorneys, CPAs, and MBA graduates.
Your experience has given you unique skills, and your life experience will allow you to connect personally with the clients you advise. You’ll quickly notice how many people have made a career switch just like you, to capture the opportunities for personal and financial growth.
The discipline, goal-orientation, and attention to detail competencies that my military career gave me are also the core attributes of running a successful financial services practice. The leadership skills acquired during my military experience prepared me to lead a team of financial advisors to grow their individual practices, and has given me the confidence to maximize my financial services career, and provide the impact, independence and income potential I desire in a career. Greg Brenner, Sr. Partner
Pursuing a career as a full time Financial Services Representative is different from a typical office job – this career gives you flexibility, rather than the need to punch a time clock. You’ll become a part of a team and have mentors to guide and help you develop your skills and knowledge, while being able to work independently, too.
As a financial advisor, you’ll be impacting lives. While it’s a big responsibility, you’ll see the fruits of your efforts: whenever a spouse is able to maintain a standard of living after an unforeseen incident, a child is able to attend college because his or her parents took proactive steps to save for it, or a couple retires comfortably and securely.

So, what’s the compensation like?
The good news is, you decide. You’re in control of compensation and the impact you’re making on your client’s lives. Your income potential is only as limited as your ambition, dedication, and hard work. This career is about long term relational and personal sales, rather than a transactional, low impact solution. Putting in the extra hours at the beginning of your career puts you in a great position to achieve a very satisfying work-life balance later on.
There is no need to “climb a corporate ladder”. You have the ability to earn competitive commissions, incentives and bonuses.

Agent Financing Plans
MassMutual understands that it may take time for a new career agent to build a business and develop a steady income stream. In the interim, the solution for many new agents is an agent financing plan. Agent financing plans are subsidy-based programs for career changers and inexperienced agents. In addition to the subsidy, agents continue to be paid commissions as earned.
