10 Questions With Abby Hollingsworth, Our Newest Financial Services Professional

We are pleased to announce that Abby Hollingsworth has joined our group of Financial Services Professionals in our Jackson office! Abby brings a wealth of experience and insight to this role and with access to our broad product line, services and tools, she can help you build solid financial solutions for today, tomorrow, and years to come. Abby graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Finance. We sat down with Abby to get to know her better.

  1. What’s your favorite part about Jackson? My favorite part about Jackson is being able to be close to my family and be able to watch my cousins grow up.
  2. What’s the most adventurous thing you have ever done? One time I flew to New York City by myself to meet my best friend for our fall break to tour Law Schools. It was only the second time I had ever been on a plane and I had no idea what I was doing.
  3. What was your very first job? My first job was at Gold’s Gym when I was 16. I started out working in child care and over the 6 years I worked there I worked pretty much every position they have.
  4. If you could customize a concert lineup, who would play? Rascal Flatts would open followed by Halsey and Ariana Grande!
  5. What is your favorite place in the world? Chicago is by far my favorite. My family and I try to take a trip to Chicago every other year for a long weekend.
  6. What is your favorite family tradition? My favorite family tradition would have to be on Christmas Eve we always go to the movies and then go back home and open one present. We still do this even though me and my brother are both out of college.
  7. What is your favorite movie? Letter to Juliet
  8. What is your favorite book? The Harry Potter books as a whole but I’d say Goblet of Fire is my favorite.
  9. What is your Karaoke go-to song? No Scrubs by TLC
  10. Why financial services? Helping people has always been a passion of mine and bringing attention to the needs people have and helping them accomplish goals they had never thought of is really rewarding.
