Capital Financial Group Holds Its 1st African American Advisors Forum

An open forum was conducted on Thursday Jan 25th at Ridgeway Country Club in Memphis on January 25th. There were 16 participants from the offices in Memphis, Tupelo, and Nashville. Evan Taylor was the special guest speaker from MassMutual’s Consumer and Multicultural Marketing Department. He has nearly 20 years of experience in Multicultural Marketing and brought a wealth of knowledge and experience in how to lead a successful practice to the event.
After Evan spoke, there was ample time for open dialogue to share best practices, advice and open questions between all the advisors present. The program concluded with a goal setting session led by Jerry Corless, Capital Financial Group’s president. James Horton said of the event, “It was fantastic. I know that there aren’t many agencies who are providing this level of support. I’m glad that my agency has stepped up to the plate and put together a great program. Hopefully, this program can continue to grow and expand each year.”
