Capital Financial Group's Nashville Team Donates Over 1,500 Diapers

The staff and agents at Capital Financial Group have just finished their annual holiday drive for items most requested by the Martha O’Bryan Center. This year over 400 total items were donated including baby wipes, diapers, shampoo, deodorant, soap, hair brushes and toilet paper. The drive is structured as a friendly competition between groups with the staff winning for the second year in a row. Worth the most points were packs of diapers, so the drive became a fun battle over which team could gather the most diapers. In the end, over 1,500 diapers were donated! Andy Faught, Director of Financial Planning shared, “At Capital Financial Group we feel it is our duty to help those in need.  The holiday drive is one initiative of many throughout the year, but is probably the most special.  As we move into the holiday season, it is not happy for all and anything we can do to brighten the spirit of others through things most of us take for granted is very special”.

Martha O’Bryan Center is an anti-poverty non-profit organization with longstanding history and deep community roots working strategically to build upward mobility, resiliency and well-being within families. Founded in 1894 when Miss O’Bryan organized the Gleaners Society at First Presbyterian Church to support impoverished North Nashville residents, Martha O’Bryan Center has operated from the heart of Cayce Place – Nashville’s most distressed community – since 1948.  This is where they continue in service, partnering with Cayce Place families to open doors of hope and possibility, create a culture of attainment, and positively shape future generations.
