After much coursework, case studies, client scenarios, testing and experience requirements, Regional Director, Greg Sirko has earned the coveted Certified Financial Planner designation. This is a difficult achievement that requires a minimum of three years of full-time financial planning experience and adherence to the Certified Planner Board of Standards Inc.’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and Financial Planning Practice Standards. Greg also had to pass the comprehensive examination that included case studies and client scenarios designed to apply one’s knowledge to real world circumstances. The exam addresses areas of financial planning, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning. CFPÒ certified practitioners must also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements.
