In Delta Zeta Sorority’s first ever 35 Under 35 recognition program, our Director of Marketing and Branding, Lauren Bellflower was recognized for her contributions in her fields as well as for her philanthropic efforts in the community. Women recommended in this National recognition have demonstrated leadership, initiative, and dedication to their careers, are motivated by challenges, serve as volunteers in their communities, and are role models for their peers.
Lauren currently serves as Vice President for the Greater Nashville Alumnae Chapter and as Alumnae Relations Advisor for the Western Kentucky Chapter of Delta Zeta. She serves on the Marketing Team for NextUp Martha O’Bryan Center Ambassadors, a service-focused Nashville professionals group devoted to awareness, fundraising and volunteering for the Martha O’Bryan Center. She also fundraises and volunteers with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. Camp Oasis is her favorite of her service projects, where she volunteers a week each year as a camp counselor at Camp Oasis. Camp Oasis is a summer camp for children with Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis that allows campers to see that they are not alone, gain confidence and independence, try new sports and activities, be supported, create friendships with those who understand their medical conditions, and put aside their troubles for a week.
